A perfect companion for a Valentine's Day themed, post-sensual salt soak massage, Kavana's Phyto-5 Love Balm is inspired by St John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum), a bright, sunny, yellow flower that blooms at the start of summer, and turns oil bright red. When mixed with wax, this bright red oil turns light pink, so a little red mica has been added to remind of St John's Wort's red colour, though the balm goes on completely clear when massaged into skin.
This cherry coloured, botanical oil, has been traditionally used for hundreds of years, to heal broken skin, soothe depression, and for general, nervous system dysregulation.
Perfect to use for a massage in the Luteal Phase, when cramps and PMS- moodiness can strike. Also wonderful as a solid fragrance massaged on the neck in the morning or before sleep, or as needed, for soothing feelings of weepiness and depression in perimenopause and menopause.
